What we know

Amsterdam Dance Event is known for turning unusual spaces into dance floors, from old churches to industrial towers. This time the label is aiming at the place where many international visitors first arrive in the Netherlands. The airport pop-up is meant to welcome festival-goers with club music instead of the usual terminal sounds.

Martin Garrix will not be playing the airport night himself. He is saving his larger production for the following evening, and the label is sending some of its regular names instead. Julian Jordan and Brooks are billed alongside the French duo Citadelle and the rising artist Nova Blue.

Because the event sits inside a working international airport, capacity is strictly limited. Access details and invitations are being shared only through the social channels of STMPD RCRDS and Schiphol in the lead-up to Wednesday. If you are flying in for ADE this week, it is worth keeping an eye on those accounts.

The bigger picture

The pop-up lands during a milestone year for the label, which has been celebrating its 10th anniversary throughout 2026. As part of that, it has taken a commemorative tour through sold-out rooms in the United States, Canada, Japan and Brazil.

The airport night leads into the label's main ADE show. That is a label takeover at AFAS Live on Thursday, October 22, featuring Garrix alongside DubVision, Third Party and Matisse & Sadko.

Why it matters

ADE week is crowded with showcases, and standing out takes more than a good lineup. A surprise event in an airport is a memorable way for a label to reach fans before the main programme even starts. It also shows how much of the conference and festival season now plays out in public spaces across the city.
