The DJ Mag Top 100 DJs 2026 is out, with David Guetta at No. 1 for a record sixth time. Now DJ Mag has shared the Next 50: the DJs ranked 101 to 150.
Because the poll is a public fan vote, some big names ended up just outside the list. Here are the ones that stand out.
The near misses
- No. 101: Sammy Virji. One place short of the Top 100. The UK garage and bass DJ has been one of the fastest-rising names in dance music.
- No. 103: Argy. The melodic techno DJ has released hits on Afterlife and is backed by Armin van Buuren and Anyma. He plays major festivals and Ibiza residencies.
- No. 105: ANOTR. The Dutch duo broke through with "Relax My Eyes" and now host takeovers at top clubs, including big nights in Ibiza.
- No. 108: Chris Lake. A tech house veteran who runs Black Book Records. His hits include "Turn Off the Lights" and "Deceiver" with Green Velvet.
Green Velvet, the Chicago house legend, is also in the Next 50.
Why it matters
The list covers techno, house, progressive and bass. Seeing artists like Chris Lake and Green Velvet outside the Top 100 has restarted the yearly debate about whether a fan vote really reflects who the biggest DJs are.
