What we know

Confirmed stops include San Diego, Salt Lake City, Nashville, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Chicago, Minneapolis, Toronto, Atlanta, Vancouver, Montreal, Boston, Dallas and Houston. Smaller markets such as Grand Rapids, Columbus, Charlotte, Boise, Spokane, Indianapolis, Virginia Beach and Midland are also on the list. More dates will follow in a Phase 2 announcement.

The main new idea is the Pupil People experience. At every stop, 12 fans will be chosen to join Cyclops inside the DJ booth, right in the middle of the 360-degree setup. Entry opens through Laylo at the start of each tour week.

Cyclops said the tour is his biggest yet and the best show his team has put together. He added that he always makes time to meet fans after shows and at festivals, and that the 360 format is about being in the action with them.

Support on select dates comes from Paper Skies, PHRVA, ProbCause, St. Mary and Sportmode. Tickets will be sold through the artist's official website, and fans can sign up on Laylo for presale alerts.

Why it matters

The announcement follows a strong year of releases, including "DIS FUNCTION" with ATLiens, "Final Bonk" with TYNAN and "Computah" with NGHTMRE, plus collaborations with BARELY ALIVE and Wooli. A recent Crater Stage set at Lost Lands showed how large his audience has become.

A 28-date headline run with an in-the-round stage is a serious step up for an artist known for odd sound design and a playful persona. The fan-in-the-booth element is unusual for a bass tour and fits the community-first approach he has built his brand on.
