Calvin Harris may be about to tour North America. Giant billboards with his name have appeared in five US cities over the past two days.
What happened
A huge digital billboard went up in Times Square, New York. It reads "NEW YORK, I FEEL SO CLOSE TO YOU RIGHT NOW" above a link to his website. The line comes from his 2011 hit "Feel So Close."
Matching billboards, each naming its own city, have also appeared in:
- Seattle
- Chicago
- San Diego
- Houston
Why fans are excited
Harris hasn't done a full US tour in years. To see him, fans usually had to catch a festival headline set like Coachella, or fly to Las Vegas for his club residencies at venues like LIV and Omnia.
A coast-to-coast billboard campaign suggests something bigger than a residency renewal. Most likely, it's a North American arena tour.
What to expect
No dates or venues have been announced yet. If the tour happens, expect a set packed with hits like "Summer," "Under Control," his Funk Wav Bounces tracks and recent singles like "Miracle."
When tickets go on sale, they are likely to sell out fast. Keep an eye on his website and socials.
