Brooklyn Pacha has announced the lineup for its opening weekend on November 6 and 7. After a first summer of parties on Pacha New York's open-air dance floor, the brand is moving indoors to the former Great Hall next door. The new space is meant to give New York a year-round home for dance music.

The opening nights
The first weekend mixes international names with key figures from New York house music. Loco Dice and Ilario Alicante are among the artists christening the room on Friday.
Saturday belongs to Nervous Records, the New York independent label celebrating 35 years. It is one of the longest-running independent labels in American dance music. Louie Vega, Oscar G, Anané and Will Automagic of The Carry Nation will play, along with a guest who has not been named.
What to expect from the space
According to a press release, the venue will combine the raw, industrial feel of the building with modern sound and lighting. The aim is an immersive club experience inside a room with plenty of character.
The move is part of the Ibiza-born brand's continued growth in New York. You can also find Pacha events in Ibiza listed on our site, such as Pacha Closing Weekend.
Closing the outdoor season first
Before the indoor launch, Pacha New York is wrapping up its outdoor season. Closing weekend parties run October 16 to 18, with Marco Carola, Black Coffee and PAWSA among the performers.
Why it matters
Open-air venues in New York only work for part of the year. An indoor room gives Pacha a way to keep its parties going through the colder months, and gives local clubbers another option.
Opening with a Nervous Records celebration also ties the new club to the city's own house music history.
