Creamfields has announced Creamfields Runway 2.0, a new open-air stage that will debut at the 2027 edition of the festival. The stage can hold 20,000 people and was designed by Lucid Creates. It brings two of the festival's existing stages together in a single arena.

What we know

Runway 2.0 combines the festival's Runway and HALO stages into one. From HALO, it takes the 360-degree visuals that the festival introduced in 2025.

The stage measures 60 metres by 40 metres. Its design is built around three diamond structures, each measuring 15 metres, which are lined with LED. Lucid Creates is the design team behind the stage, and reports say they have worked with Creamfields since 2022.

The festival has not been described as dropping either stage by name in the information we have seen. Instead, the announcement frames Runway 2.0 as a merger of the two ideas into one larger space. Anyone planning a trip should check the festival's own channels for details on how the rest of the site will be laid out.

Why it matters

A 20,000-capacity stage is a big commitment, and it shows where the festival wants to put its energy for 2027. Folding two stages into one arena also changes how the site could feel, since a larger crowd will gather in a single place instead of splitting between two.

For fans, the headline is the visual side. Combining a 360-degree look with a large LED structure suggests a show built to be seen from all around the arena. Lineup details for the new stage have not been part of this announcement.
