The Cercle Festival 2026 recently concluded its highly anticipated third edition at the National Air and Space Museum of France in Paris-Le Bourget (May 22–24, 2026). This year’s festival was particularly historic due to an unprecedented cultural and scientific partnership with the European Space Agency (ESA) and the French National Centre for Space Studies (CNES).
The three-day electronic music event featured 44 massive artists (including Eric Prydz, Adriatique, ANNA, and Boris Brejcha) performing across three breathtaking stages built around legendary aerospace icons: the A380 aircraft, supersonic Concorde jets, and the towering Ariane 5 rocket.
At the literal center of the festival was the "Cupola," an immersive space dome designed as a hub for discovery. It hosted virtual reality experiences, sensory installations, and thematic science panels bringing together aerospace experts, planetary scientists, and electronic music producers.
The Space Story Link: Sophie Adenot
The emotional and symbolic highlight of the festival's space connection belongs to Sophie Adenot.
Sophie is an ESA astronaut currently living and working aboard the International Space Station (ISS) as part of her εpsilon (Epsilon) mission. Bridging the ultimate gap between Earth, music, and the cosmos, Sophie officially opened Cercle Festival 2026 via an extraordinary, pre-recorded video address broadcast directly from microgravity on the ISS to the festival screens.
