Calvin Harris has officially made history — and the number is almost impossible to comprehend.
Guinness World Records has recognized the Scottish DJ and producer for the largest attendance for a DJ set by a single artist, following his performance in São Paulo, Brazil, on February 8, 2026.
The official Guinness record lists an attendance of 1,600,000 people.

The record-setting performance took place during Bloco Skol's São Paulo Carnival celebrations, with Harris performing from a carnival float on Rua da Consolação, near Avenida Paulista.
Instead of the usual festival stage or stadium setup, Calvin Harris found himself surrounded by an enormous sea of people stretching through the streets of one of the world's biggest cities.
Harris embraced the Brazilian atmosphere, performing in a Brazil football shirt with “Calvinho” and the number 00 printed on the back.
His set included several of his biggest tracks, including “This Is What You Came For,” “One Kiss,” “I Need Your Love” and “We Found Love.”

While the performance happened in February, the Guinness recognition was announced on September 20, 2026, when Harris shared the official record certificate on social media.

Importantly, this is not a claim for the largest concert audience in history. The Guinness title specifically covers a DJ set performed by a single artist.
